BIG FAT SUMMER CHALLENGE BEGINS!

The BIG FAT SUMMER CHALLENGE BEGINS TODAY! I created a lovely little badge for your guys to put in your sidebar to show that you are participating in the challenge. I’ve added our final rules after talking to other bloggers so here are our official rules:

Begins: June 1st

Ends: July 31st

THE RULES:

Wear shorts (NO LEGGINGS, NO TIGHTS!)
Wear something without sleeves
Wear something STRAPLESS
Rock a bathing suit
Wear a bodycon dress/outfit
Go SPANX/shaper free (might be harder for some of us..ahem…ME)
Rock a maxi dress or something similar
Wear something structure-less
Wear a short skirt/dress
YOUR CHOICE: Something you normally wouldn’t wear/do – BE BRAVE!

HOW TO PLAY:

You must photograph yourself doing each of the things listed above. At the end of July write a post with all of your pictures included stating which rule was followed. Leave me a comment with the link, I’ll post all the links with a poll, and we’ll have everyone vote who rocked the challenge the most!

THE PRIZE: One of (2) things:

First: This lovely new dress courtesy of eShakti, in a size 18/20 (I’ll get the exact measurements tonight).

OR, if that is not your size/interest: $25 gift card to Sephora, Target or Torrid – Your choice!

I am doing this! Thank you…I had been pondering ways to be more publicly fat and fatshionable and well, this is a perfect challenge. BUT what is bodycon? Just something that I would normally be self-conscious about wearing? And no spanx, how would one photograph this? I’ve never even worn the things.

Why am I only finding out about fatshion today?! I've always been overweight and 2 years ago I worked hard and dropped 50lbs in a year, still leaving me over 200lbs, but not by much. I love clothing and all things fashion. For me, losing weight was about my health. Mainly, my knee was constantly swollen and now it's been reduced to a dull ache. I'm totally doing this challenge, though I probably won't make it under the deadline. It'll be empowering! Thanks for blogging!
