One Year Blogoversary!

Wow. My first fatshion blog post was one year ago, it was my list of Spring Fatshion picks and had a single comment. And from that day on, I just wrote and wrote and wrote. I can’t believe it’s only been on year since I started blogging, a few weeks ago I hit 100,000 views! Yesterday, I was on the front page of bloggers.com as an editors’ pick. In September, Stiletto Siren and I organized the first ever Viva Fat Vegas Conference! I’ve met so many wonderful people, who are now my friends, I’ve had amazing opportunities all from writing in my own little corner of the internet.

Lately, I’ve felt like a big of a blogger failure. The past 5 months this blog has been a mess of ramblings, rants, tears, laughter and a bit of fashion. I feel like I’ve let my readers down a bit, I haven’t been very consistent or involved in the blogging community and I miss it. I feel like a bit of an outsider. So, this is my vow to jump back in. To get back to what I love, even if I’m a bit rusty and unmotivated. To those of you who have stuck around, thank you. Thank you for your kind comments when my life was in pieces, your encouragement when I began picking those pieces back up, and your continued support as I strike out on my own. Oh, and if you haven’t already ready follow me on tumblr, because most of my random rants. pics, and vids are there and I am slightly addicted.

I didn’t do any giveaways or anything (sorry, guys!) in truth, this one year just kinda sneaked up on me. I’ve been so busy with job interviews, spending time with my friends, and such that I just have been letting the blog languish here. No more! My goal is 3 posts a week – and more outfit posts! This past week I finally got the last of my furniture, which was being stored at my best friend’s apartment, so my bedroom is officially in use. It feels nice to see a full closet, bureau, and vanity. And I spent all night Sunday organizing everything and sorting out my jewelry…and most importantly…I HAVE MY BIG BELT DRAWER BACK! I shrieked when I saw my vanity drawer filled with belts, oh how I’ve missed them!
