Fat & (almost) Naked!

I’m baaaaaaaack – and writing a post by request! (I feel like Carson Daly on TRL…oh, I just dated myself.) One of my friends from college – who is a plus size beauty herself – has been following my blog since it began. And luckily she has twitter – so we tweet back and forth about everything in the plus size fashion world. Today she asked,

Have you done (or can you do) a post on where to find sexy, affordable plus size lingerie? Cacique isn’t cutting it lately.

.And I, of course, said yes! Lingerie never really occurred to me – because frankly, it’s too much of a hassle for me. I know, surprising, right? I used to care MUCH more…but it just sort of faded. (I mean, you did see my post about how much I LOVE granny panties right?) But maybe now is the time to explore the plus size lingerie world – first starting off with legit lingerie – slips, chemises, babydolls and bustiers! And then later on this week – the quest for the sexy bra.

And you know what, she’s totally right. Let’s get do what I hunted down:

  2. Velvet Cami Set with Ivory Bows – $21.95
  3. Halter Babydoll with Lace Trim – $39.50
  4. Belted Polka Dot Bustier – $28.47
  5. Floral Lace Chemise – $49.00
  6. Ruffle Mesh Chemise – $24.00

These options are from both Hips and Curves and BigGalsLingerie.com – which I think had the best range, variety, and sizes (up to a 12x!). Keep in mind, my selections are quite tame – as I’m not too into super revealing lingerie (I mean, what’s the point of wearing anything AT ALL if it just shows everything?!)

    I agree on the super-revealing lingerie comment… a bit of sexy lace shows whatchu got, but doesnt give it all away.

    Hmmm… now I just need to find someone to wear this lingerie for….

    I look at Hips & Curves a lot, but I’d really like to hear about the quality & how supportive their items are. There is nothing sexy about droopy boobies in an item meant for non-droopy boobies.
