Fall Fatshion on a Budget: Norma Kamali!

So, last year Wal-Mart had a collection from Norma Kamali, but I missed out. Mostly because I was oblivious because the Wal-Mart that is near me carries mostly the Miley Cyrus line. Yeah, I know. If I see one more pair of Miley Cyrus leggings next time I got to buy paper towels, I WILL SCREAM. Anyway, once again, my Wal-Mart (nor any even remotely near this mountainous area I live in) carry the Norma Kamali line, but luckily, it’s all available online! And I have to say I am much more impressed with this season’s line than I was with the last one. There are a lot of simple, chic, but fashion forward pieces that could be used as a) foundations for a fall wardrobe and b) basic pieces to accent. And amazingly enough, nearly every piece is just $20.00. While I normally don’t like to support the thieving, evil corporation that is Wal-Mart – I am too impressed by some of these pieces at this price range – so ENJOY!

It’s a great way to try out the convertible style, see if you like it (or if you are me, can figure it out…) and then possibly invest in a higher quality version if it’s your thing!

There are also some great workwear pieces – blazers, batwing cardigan, kimono top – a lot of items that are a great way to get a coordinated fall wardrobe you can dress up or down – INEXPENSIVELY! I plan on picking up a few pieces soon – I’ll be sure to review them! Sizes go up to XXL and 18 in skirts/pants – but I know from last year reading reviews that their is a lot of stretch in the pieces, so I think bigger sizes could try some of these items.

    Last year I got two knit motorcycle jackets from this line and people ALWAYS ask me about them. I’m so glad she’s back again this year.

    I purchased a long sleeve fitted navy dress about a year ago and love it, love it, love it. I actually had pretty much the same dress (style and color) but could not resist purchasing this Kamali piece. The quality and the price was amazing. I use to worked for Loehmann’s and every once in a while they would get her line in, but no where near Walmart’s price point. Unfortunantly, my sister was giving me a heavy duty guilty trip which prevented me from getting the black one as well. After dropping her off, I went back to get it and it was gone. So sad!
